In the painted caves of Lascaux in France, a star map has been discovered of the Pleiades star cluster dating back 16,500 years.

Look over the shoulder of the bull and you can see 6 of the stars in the Pleiades cluster.

In a similar find another pattern of stars has also been found in Spain dating back 14,000 years.
