September 15, 2006
This
year will mark our tenth year in business. For most of
that time, we have had a presence on the internet and
have continued to bring you Synaptic Sky and Synaptic
Studios. This year, we have decided to re-brand our
company. As such, these web sites will undergo many changes over
the next few months.
We are taking a serious look at entering the world of
control surfaces. If you have been a regular visitor to
this site, you will have seen us link to the MIG
STC-1000 MIDI controller. There are many interesting
dynamics now at play in the world of control surfaces
and it is these dynamics that are causing us to consider
entering the fray. Stay tuned ...
The
Synaptic Sky
site
has grown again. We have added Star Clusters and
Galaxies to the Wonders of Deep Space pages. As well,
there is a new Observing Tips section. Watch for the
Tips section to grow. As always, we invite your input
and especially .. your content.
In the months to come, look for the
Synaptic
Studios
site to get a major facelift. You may have to update
some of your bookmarks and we apologize if this causes
you any inconvenience. Our intent is to constantly add
content and make these pages as friendly as possible.
Please
note that the original compositions that were formerly
available at the Synaptic Studios site are no longer
available for download. Why you ask? Well, a CD (Old Dog New Tricks) will soon be
available and a whole new web site will be born to
promote this music. When it is ready, I will post a
message here with the URL.
Evans Pickups
Update
Rod Evans
is not making pickups at this time and so we can not
fulfill any orders for these great pickups. If and when
Rod decides to make the pickups again, we will make an
announcement at Synaptic Systems and Synaptic Studios.
In the meantime, we will keep the Evans web-site on line
in order to support guitar players who use Evans
Pickups.
